Turn the placemat inside out so the interfacing is hidden inside. Sew up the gap in the fabric. Repeat the process with the other placemats.

To make name cards, cut 1/2 by 2 1/2-inch strips of vintage fabric with pinking shears. Tie the strips in bows or simple knots. Tear a 4 by 3-inch square of recycled cardboard, score and fold it. Glue the bow in the corner, write on name and place by a setting.
