Pin and Sew Trim
Position and pin pleated ribbon trim around perimeter pillow front (Image 1). Overlap trim's ends slightly where they meet. Acorn should be facing up with trim pinned to same side. Sew into place along center stitched line on trim (Image 2) and remove pins.
Assemble Pillow
With acorn and trim facing up, place second piece of linen on top (Image 1). Pin front and back together. Pillow should be inside out at this point (Image 2). Sew around perimeter of pillow, following stitch line made when sewing on trim. Leave a 10 inch opening at bottom of pillow. Turn pillowcase right side out and insert pillow form. Carefully turn over raw edges, line up trim and pin opening together (Image 3). Thread an all-purpose needle with cream all-purpose cotton thread and knot at end. Use a running stitch to sew pillow closed (Image 4). Remove pins. Note: Pillow should be spot-cleaned only.
