Stack Circles

To create the pumpkin shape, stack a circle of felt plus two layers of quilt batting and the cardboard circle together. Glue in place.

Sew on Seams

Poke a hole in the center of the cardboard, then thread a needle with orange yard to create seams on your pumpkin.

Attach Ribbon

Cut about 1 1/2 yards of ribbon and lay it across the middle. Then seal fabric in place by gluing the smaller felt circle on top.

Add Adornment

A green felt leaf and rolled up twig complete the look. Now the only thing left to do is try it on!

Witch Hat Variation

Wrap circle of black felt around cardboard and glue in place. Roll stiff felt into a cone shape. Cut off excess and glue on top of circle.

Add black feathers and spider, gluing in place. Attach strip of lace along the underside of the circle, which looks like a veil. Finally, attach a 1 1/2' ribbon to the bottom of your circle and glue the second piece of black felt on top.
