Materials Needed:

  • white porcelain plates
  • medium paint brush
  • thin paint brush
  • porcelain paint in a variety of colors
  • porcelain paint thinner
  • paint palette

Mix Paint

Fill the paint palette with the porcelain paint thinner. Mix porcelain paint of each color into the paint thinner. Tip: You want the paint to be the consistency of melted ice cream.

Paint Largest Flowers

Start with your largest flower. Using the same color, paint a few around your plate, even off the edge. Keep your brush loose and organic.

Add Second Color

Move onto the next color. These lilacs were made by grouping together little dots of blue paint.
