Russell and Laura's front yard is basically a big empty, dirt lot. They want to add curb appeal that does justice to the existing, spectacular Spanish Colonial architecture, and provide a place for the family's 2 young children to play. Host Steve Hanneman, and Carpenters Marcus Hunt and Carmen de la Paz, build a giant wood pergola that adds massive architectural appeal, create a Spanish courtyard complete with a brightly tiled fountain, carve out a paver walkway, and roll out a fresh green lawn of sod. On the final day, Russell and Laura are amazed at the first glimpse of the new Hacienda-inspired front yard that adds architectural interest, curb appeal, and a place for the whole family to play.
