Homeowners David and Sally Smith love living in the city; however, they have limited space to park. They want to rectify the problem and create a beautiful garden atmosphere as well. Ed Castro, owner of Ed Castro Designs, gives a new look to the yard with the installation of an antique fence made in the 1860's. An existing brick wall leads to a new blue-stone receiving area, which is enclosed by a fence that matches the antique gate. The driveway is demolished and replaced with a new reconfigured driveway made from concrete. To add beauty, a Charleston-style garden is installed between the driveway and the house so David and Sally have a pleasant walk up to the house. A terrace with a pergola arbor is installed in the back yard. Beyond the terrace, an antique, limestone water feature and garden serve as focal points. A six-foot wall with a gated entry encloses the entire back yard.
