Peggy and Chris, the homeowners, live in a two-story house in the city; they have worked on the interior of their house for years. The yard has been virtually untouched, and the landscape is overgrown and unusable. Landscape architect Don Hooten has designed new plans. The current single parking drive is ripped out and replaced with a new drive, complete with a turnaround in the back. Pennsylvania bluestone and brick are used on the driveway and walkways. The deck is reconstructed, and lattice screens add privacy to the entertaining area. A few trees are taken out, and a picket fence replaces the rotting fence bordering the yard. New plantings finish out the landscape.
