Hillside Retreat

This episode shows the transformation of a plain lot around a new home. Ron Coker developed a design that includes a combination pool and spa. The dramatic element of the pool is the "negative edge," which gives the illusion that water continuously spills over the pool's outermost edge. The design of the "edge" wall is unique in that it houses a trough that captures the spillover and recycles the pool water. Decks with terraced walls and general outdoor entertaining areas complete this new landscape.
