Elegance in Stone

Homeowners John and Sherri have built their dream home and now want a dream landscape to finish the project. They want a new swimming pool and spa located on the same level as the main floor of their home. Because the architecture of their new home is very formal, they want the landscape to be formal as well.

Pete Wilkerson of Lifescapes has worked with John and Sherri in the past on two previous landscapes. An extensive retaining wall will have to be installed in order for John and Sherri to have their pool on the same level as their home. The pool will be elegant, boasting a bluestone deck trimmed with brick. A fountain and a spa will enhance the pool, keeping with the formal style of the landscape. Wilkerson plans to build a pergola to help provide privacy for the pool area. A concrete driveway will have an attractive bluestone apron trimmed with brick. The driveway will lead to a formal parking area of darker concrete outlined with a bluestone border.
