Bamboo and Barbecue

Homeowners Elaine and Steve entertain a lot; Steve is an accomplished barbecue expert and frequently judges barbecue competitions. His pride and joy is a large smoker that even has a name--Oklahoma Joe. In the new landscape, Steve wants a place designed just for Joe. They also want the sounds of flowing water, but they don't want a high-maintenance pond. In the front yard, they want to replace the cracking driveway and clear out the overgrown builder's package plantings.
