A Garden Grows Up

Homeowners Sharon and Ron live in a home with a spacious, expansive yard. Unfortunately, the yard has been neglected and is unattractive and uninviting. They want to expand their home by extending their living space into their yard. David Gatti of POPS Landscaping devises a plan that transforms the homeowners' yard into an attractive living space. He demolishes the rotten deck and replaces it with a grand-stacked stone staircase. The new structure connects the back of the house to the new stone patio. He expands and defines the yard by digging it out and installing a boulder wall around the perimeter. As a focal point, he builds a waterfall to cascade down the side of the yard into a new pond. Sharon and Ron now have an inviting area that is an extension of their home.
