HGTV Green Home 2010 Public Tours

The public is invited to tour HGTV Green Home 2010 and see what makes it a one-of-a-kind green prototype. The home received an overall Gold rating from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). This comprehensive certification measures six different green building categories: lot design, resource efficiency, energy efficiency, water efficiency, indoor air quality and operation.

Public tours begin on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, and continue through Friday, July 2, 2010. The tours take place Tuesday through Sunday, on the hour, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Thursday, on the hour, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. HGTV Green Home 2010 is not open for tours on Mondays.

Tickets cost $20 per person. Proceeds benefit Pinehills Affordable Housing Charitable Trust Inc., a 501(C) 3 which supports private and public efforts to create qualified, affordable housing in the town of Plymouth, Mass. Children 12 and under accompanied by a parent or legal guardian are admitted at no charge.
