A sculptural succulent with a rosette of tough, pointed, spine-tipped leaves, yellow-edged in 'Marginata'. Grow in cactus mix. Water well in summer, giving occasional liquid fertilizer, but keep dry in winter, when it also needs to be kept under cover.

Hardiness: Tender plants that do not tolerate any degree of frost
Soil Preference: Well-drained soil
