7. Make Sunflower Faces

Wait for the sunflowers to open. Then, use a pencil or pointed stick to pick out some of the tiny flowers on the head to make a face. Eyes, noses and mouths can be different shapes.

8. Choose a Sunny Spot

Grow sunflowers in a place that gets full sun. Use well-drained soil. Seeds will germinate in 2 to 3 weeks and flowers will open after 7 to 10 weeks.
