How to Plant an Herb Container Garden

4. Fill in the soil around the plant.

The base of the stem should be level with the soil surface. Once you've planted all your herbs, water them around their roots.

5. Decorate your garden.

Do a little research and make flags to show where the herbs originated. For example, borage originally came from Syria and epazote from Mexico.
