Host Paul James talks about the different sizes of pots and suggest ways to determine which size may be the best to buy. In the question and answer segment, James answers questions about protecting plants from ants and aphids. He shows how ants can be controlled with either a sticky material or boiled water. He gives tips for controlling aphids, strengthening plants around birdfeeders, getting rid of annual bluegrass and pruning spring-flowering trees. In segment three, James gives tips on cutting back plants; he shows how to pinch back, shave and shape the plants. He also shows some very unfamiliar flowers.
