It looks like a spaceship just landed in the middle of Wilton, CT, but it's actually a fully decked out circular home that rotates. Built in 1968 by famed architect Richard Foster, the Round House is both eclectic and extreme. Then, visit Taos, NM, where Kirsten Jacobsen and Ronald Sciarillo built their earthship-shaped home using recycled materials such as rubber tires, soda cans and plastic bottles. And they've made it so energy-efficient, they never have to pay water, gas or electricity bills.
