Add Color to Wax
Take the wax off the heat and add a few drops of the green dye. Keep adding dye until the wax reaches your desired color.
Using tongs, dip individual pinecones into the green wax and let them dry on the wax paper.
To create bunches of pinecones, pile several on a spoon and dip together. Drizzle with a little bit of extra wax and let dry in an ice cube tray.
Package the Firestarters
Fill a glass jar with the dried firestarters and tie on a hand-lettered label with twine.
Bring retro holiday patterns to your party with dish towel favors made from vintage Christmas tablecloths.Advertisement
