Add Color to Wax
Take the wax off the heat and add a few drops of the green dye. Keep adding dye until the wax reaches your desired color.
Re-Dip Pinecones
Using tongs, dip individual pinecones into the green wax and let them dry on the wax paper.
To create bunches of pinecones, pile several on a spoon and dip together. Drizzle with a little bit of extra wax and let dry in an ice cube tray.
Package the Firestarters
Fill a glass jar with the dried firestarters and tie on a hand-lettered label with twine.
