Here are some ideas to welcome your Thanksgiving with holiday-inspired door decor.
Make a great first impression by brightening up the front door. Add color to the sidelights surrounding the front door with sheets of orange or yellow cello wrap, available at craft stores. The cello wrap very inexpensively replicates the look of stained glass but is temporary and can be easily removed.
Instead of a traditional fall wreath, create two small arrangements using brightly colored flowers in metal containers and hang these on the door at varying heights. Large pots filled with bare birch tree branches frame the door.
Turn a single door into a grand entrance by adding decorative metal screens to both sides of the entry. Place hanging lanterns filled with pillar candles in front of the screens to cast a warm and welcoming glow for arriving Thanksgiving guests. Add rustic planters filled with fall grasses to either side of the door to complete the look.
