Ingredients for Glaze
1 cup honey
2 tablespoons orange juice
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
pinch ground cloves
1 fully cooked whole ham
Instructions for Glaze
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
2. Mix together honey, orange juice, almond extract and cloves in a bowl, then stir. Once ingredients are thoroughly mixed, set the bowl aside.
3. In a shallow roasting pan, center the ham, then place in oven for a total of 75 minutes. Remove ham, then apply the glaze using a turkey baster. Once the glaze has been evenly applied, place the pan back in the oven until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F. This should take between 35-45 minutes. While the ham finishes baking, sporadically add more glaze with baster.
