This family needed a defined space for entertaining and gathering, so an outdoor wood-fired pizza oven is incorporated within the space for sharing meals. The table was made from a pre-cut slab of marble — inspired by a 500-year-old table from Villa Lante in Italy. A hole was cut in the center of it with planting troughs inserted to be used as storage for chilled wine or herbs. Photography by Jason Busch.
