Designer's Notes

The stylish functional family basement is divided into two areas: a crafting/homework space and an entertainment area. Behind the sofa, a bookcase is place for storing toys and books in baskets. Carpet tiles in three different colors are used to create an area rug, grounding the furniture in the entertainment area and softening the floor.
