Designer's Notes

This Designers' Challenge show winner created an elegant space in this Floridian vacation home. The inspiration for the room was taken from the vintage fabric on the sofa pillows. The design was completed by using a hand-carved wooden mirror and coffee table, a white lacquered screen, chairs designed specifically for this client and beautiful credenza with wood inlay detail. Custom artwork was created to play off of the fabric. Lighting was an important aspect of the space and thus was provided by the faux bamboo floor lamp and five antique crystal wall sconces.
