Designer's Notes

A young family enjoys the fire and watches the plasma screen in this warm and inviting family room. An Ultrasuede sectional sofa blends with juicy red mohair on the club chair. The back walls of the bookshelves are painted red to accent the woodwork and add more symmetry to the room. The custom designed fireplace surround is created from Honduran mahogany that has been mitered and angled back to the fireplace surround for drama. A wenge wood African-inspired cocktail table anchors the space.
