Designer's Notes

His and her desks were placed on each side of the center shelves, giving the couple ample individual work areas. Two sets of open shelves house office supplies, books and electronic/office components. To avoid making the setting too visually busy and imposing, the wood was painted the same color as the walls, allowing it to blend gracefully with the rest of the room. By placing the open shelves to the sides, the front part of the installation creates the perfect surface to place a plasma TV.
