Designer's Notes

In this 1970s California ranch, a heavy oversized brick fireplace was replaced with a new wall that includes a niche a flat-screen TV and an architectural relief. New cabinets add storage to either side of the fireplace, while the fireplace itself was finished with marble and a mantel to match the cherry cabinets. Photo by Greg Epstein.
