Traditional Kitchen With White Cabinets and Wood Island

As frequent entertainers, the homeowners of this traditional home wanted a multifunctional kitchen with integrated living space. To create wider passageways, walls were removed and the living area of the kitchen was bumped out about two feet, allowing room for more windows to brighten up the space. The peninsula separating the kitchen and dining area was removed to create an open living area.
