Designer's Notes

Designed for entertaining, this kitchen incorporates everyday function with the necessities of catering capabilities. Custom cherry cabinets are the base for a highly functional design using a countertop mix of granite and wood and a stone and glass backsplash. The use of a raised wood countertop along with a floating soffit above the island give off a visual barrier that helps separate the kitchen area from the open plan of the rest of the large family room. Design Tip: Using a mix of materials adds interest to a kitchen.
