This bungalow kitchen is long and narrow, and in order to maintain its authenticity the homeowners opted to keep it closed off from the dining room. Rather than an island, this kitchen has a peninsula with enough seating for three. The plain-cut oak custom cabinets have been stained to match the woodwork in the rest of the house. The handmade off-white subway tile gives this kitchen a vintage look. The vintage-style sconces and schoolhouse pendants and soapstone countertops complete the look.
