Timeless in its style, we mimic a traditional kitchen and give it a honed black granite countertop that can endure anything from a hot roasting pan from the oven to cutting lemons to make lemonade. Since the countertop is honed, it has a softer appeal similar to soapstone but much lower to maintain. To be green and make the floor easy on the legs and feet, we did a cork floor.
