Designer's Notes

This 1980s split-level ranch kitchen was gutted to the studs in order to open it up with a vaulted ceiling. Green granite and cream ceramic tiles complement new cherry cabinets. The copper relief in the tile above the cooktop adds interest and warmth, while new stainless steel appliances add a contemporary spin to the traditional setting. Photo by Greg Epstein.
