Shown here is a painted panoramic view of early Philadelphia based on an engraving series known as "Birch's Views of Early Philadelphia." This 18th-century home is unique for its placement because each of the views depicted corresponds with what would, and in some cases, can still be seen from each of the windows of the room. It depicts Headhouse Square to Old Christ's Church wrapping all around the room. The fireplace is Georgian millwork but the wainscoting is trompe l'oeil.
