This traditional dining room is unique with its handpainted canvas ceilings and faux-finished walls. To create a European feel without being overbearing, maximum natural light was allowed in so that heavy, rich fabrics and dark paint were able to be used. Designer tip: Always consider the natural light in a room--more is usually better.
