A custom-designed basement wine cellar occupies the heart of this Manhattan home. The custom-designed cabinetry is made of cherry wood in a merlot finish. The cork flooring is in two shades of plum set in a herringbone brick pattern, and the walls consist of fascia brick with an arched alcove seat. The barreled ceiling is finished with natural cork.
