Designer's Notes

Taking a country vernacular wood table with ladder back chairs and blending it with a Murano glass gold chandelier and opulent draperies creates a wonderful juxtaposition in this country home. A blend of the husband's previously owned dining set with the wife's love of silks and fancy curtains creates a whimsical sense of harmony while the contrast of the warm wood blinds at the window diminishes a sense of formality. Silk cushions adorn the seats and are secured by tassel tiebacks in coordinating colors to provide comfort and beauty all at once.
