Interior designer Cathy Hobbs, ASID, chose to create architectural detail in this post-war New York City apartment where it did not exist. Inexpensive molding was added to the walls in order to give the room a sense of having Old World architectural details. The moldings are further accentuated by painting them white, in contrast to a soft, yet bold powder blue paint on the walls.
