Designer's Notes

Family photos are great for a nursery for many reasons. Mainly because the nursery should reflect love, family and tradition, and what better way to do so than to add the smiling faces of loved ones to surround the newest family member. Babies also love to look at faces, so the larger the faces in the photos, the better. The mom-to-be wanted to really take her time in deciding which photos to add and also wanted one of them to be a newborn photo of the baby. So rather than hang empty picture frames, designer Sherri Blum chose to cut up some coordinating wallpaper and fabric to make a monogram and silhouette to temporarily fill the voids.
