Designer's Notes

This living space tells the story of the people who live here: it has an expansive and invigorating color palette of rich reds that is energetic as the social gatherings that take place here, but is also inviting and comfortable. The streamlined sitting area has a custom sectional upholstered in four different fabrics with different shades of red, which transforms into a queen-size bed. The custom-designed coffee tables are at different heights to add interest and can be easily moved around for certain needs. A floor mirror doubles as lighting, and the vibrant, color-coordinated art and side chair create contrast and movement against the rectilinear sofa. Photography by Becket Logan.
