Designer's Notes

An upbeat Italian minimalist look was created for this home. The modern design features classic lines, soft seating and inviting artwork, avoiding anything too stark or uncomfortable. A color palette of crème, with touches of blue, terra cotta, silvers and grays, add to the home’s friendly atmosphere, creating a strong but comfortable look.
Design Tip: It is not just colors that can be neutral, but textures can be neutral too. If a room is too texturally neutral add a very tactile piece. In this room, it is the rug that adds the texture. ©Photo by Stephen Allen Photography.
