Designer's Notes

Matching the window casing with the rest of the home makes this kitchen feel like it has always been there. The lack of wall cabinets, mixed with the tiled-in hood and continuous tile walls, help to create a European yet commercial look. The classic black, white and brown palette creates a timeless backdrop to the industrial accents like the lighting and the French industrial counter stools. Tip: Functionality never goes out of style – many industrial-style items look the same way today as they did 50 years ago.
