Designer's Notes

Previously a den, this space got the addition of two more windows and French doors, with casing custom-matched to the rest of the house. The oversized pendant lights were the first purchase and inspiration for this room. The vintage farm table was originally too long, so a few inches of the overhang were cut off on either end. The mismatched chairs help to make this space feel unfussy and casual. The built-in corner cabinet with ice-box hinges and industrial wire-glass was built to house art supplies and games. Tip: Chairs don’t have to match when they’re all one color and even if they aren't sometimes.
