Designer's Notes

This '90s kitchen was completely gutted to make way for the homeowners love of English country and antiques. Horizontal 1x6 boards are used as the backsplash and continued throughout the rest of the kitchen for a seamless flow. New cabinetry is installed, while open shelving is perfect for displaying the homeowner's favorite china. A walnut countertop, light blue-painted ceiling, cup pulls and glass knobs give an extra special touch to the kitchen. Photography by Anisa Darnell
