Designer's Notes

This media room/loft space is the winning design from HGTV's Showhouse Showdown. The room carries an urban sophisticated, theme is a combination of both traditional and contemporary furnishings used to create a space that comfortable, functional and eclectic. The bold upholstery pattern on the swivel chairs and the shag rug add a retro feel to the room. The gold tree stump table, side table and floor lamp are fun, nature-inspired furnishings that add interest and whimsy to the room. The gold finish on each of the nature-inspired pieces is a common element that carries throughout the room and helps unify the space.
