Designer's Notes

For this boy's bedroom, a painted spindle bed is covered in a whimsical tractor bedspread. Plaid and burlap curtains add to the country feel of the space. Designer Tip: Paint the bottom half the room in one color (chair rail molding isn't necessary) and a piece of furniture the same color. It makes the bed almost disappear. Photography by Sarah Dorio
