The design features a large curved deck where water almost meets the timber decking. A tiny, almost imperceptible gap gives the illusion that the deck continues seamlessly into the water. However, the scoop that creates the 'beach' for the shallow water to lap over is separate and doesn't touch the timber of the rest of the serpentine deck. Photography by Jonathan Tickner.
