This 1940’s ranch home was remodeled and revived with four shades of fresh citron green color. The large fireplace was painted with a warm grey/taupe (Dunn Edwards Weatherboard) to ground the brighter wall and ceiling colors. The existing block fireplace was wrapped in drywall, and inexpensive vertical drywall helps the fireplace look more narrow and in proportion to the room. Soy-based concrete stain is low VOC and easy to apply.
