Designer's Notes

This modern three-bedroom beach house in Fire Island is used as a weekend and summer retreat. The dramatic ceiling in the living room allows plenty of light and green to come through during the day, while the modern furnishings compliment the original funky details like the corner fireplace. The coffee table is a couple of tree stumps found on the island by the owners.
