Compromise was key in this kitchen in Norwood, MA where the husband wanted darker cabinets and the wife didn’t want the kitchen to feel dark. By using the darker cabinets on the bottom and the lighter painted cabinets at the top, the light from the kitchen window is reflected at eye level, while the base cabinets add some weight and warmth to the room.
