Designer's Notes

This small guest room needed a budget-friendly update and a good dose of color. Designer Anna Williams spray-painted a vintage headboard in a matte gray paint to give it a graphic look against the bright white walls. Simple white bedding highlights colorblocked-patterned bedding in coral, red and orange, while chunky timber bedside tables provide a large surface for a guest to keep books, phones and knick-knacks. The tall white lamps were chosen to balance the tall windows and trimmed with red velvet ribbon for a custom look. Photo by Naomi Abdilla.
