Designer's Notes

This family room is a perfect combination of the best of East and West. The Eames chair and glass side table exemplify Mid-century modern, while the enormous round ottoman is Moroccan-inspired. The Tibetan scroll painting, orchids, Asian statues and vases have Oriental influences. The white linen scrim hanging from the 15-foot ceiling is dual purpose; it provides a cozy separation from an adjacent hallway and accentuates the spacious height of the room.
